Altaussee
The Altaussee salt mine was the storage depot for the masterpieces stolen by the Nazis. The art pieces were meant to be safe for the Führermuseum; kept safe in the mines they would not be destroyed in the cross fire and bombings.
Merkers
The Merkers salt mine was a safe haven for all of the Nazi gold.
Siegen
The Copper Mine Siegen was the storage place for all of the art that the Nazis believed belonged to Germany.
